MK Sathya is a seasoned executive with over 18 years of global experience in all areas of business. Presently a Vice President-Category Management for Keystone Automotive Operations, Exeter PA, he is responsible for Keystone’s purchasing, merchandising, marketing and inventory management functions. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bangalore University, India and worked briefly for MICO, India before departing to the US to pursue a Master’s degree in Manufacturing Technology from the University of Southern Mississippi, Hattiesburg, MS. He started his professional career in the US as a Mechanical Engineer with Alcoa. MK worked for several years at GE accumulating a wide range of professional and managerial experience. Amongst his several accomplishments, he is an certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt from GE Transportation Systems in Erie, PA. His other experiences include establishing and operating several global operations in Engineering and Technology, Back Office Operations, Sales and Marketing and Global Sourcing. He was the Managing Director, Global Technology Center for Textron, Inc.; Vice President, Global Sourcing Operations for VWR International, Inc.; Managing Director, India Sales, Marketing and Back office operations for VWR International Inc. His physician wife, Anu and two children—Nisha (10) and Nakul (7) reside in Rhode Island, USA.
